Gerard Malanga, MD was an invited guest at the Regenerative Medicine Stakeholders Meeting for the Defense Health Agency US Army Medical Research & Material Command Clinical & Rehabilitative Medicine Research Program held in Potomac, MD on April 11th.

Clinicians and researchers from around the country presented on various Regenerative Treatments to assist our military personnel in recovering from traumatic and nontraumatic injuries from burns to fractures and amputations. Dr. Malanga is working with research assistants from the Kessler Foundation to develop research projects to use Regenerative Treatments to treat meniscal tears and rotator cuff tears in the military population.

In the future, he hopes to develop studies to treat peripheral nerve and spinal cord injuries.
