Dr. Malanga goes to Washington

Dr. Malanga and representatives from the Kessler Foundation met with government officials from various departments including Veteran’s Affairs, NIH, Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense and NJ Senator Bob Menendez office representative to inform them of the potential benefits of Regenerative Treatments for Orthopedic Conditions. Dr. Malanga informed these representatives of the research that has been done at New Jersey Regenerative Institute and ongoing research at the Kessler Foundation. He was warmly received and encouraged to continue this work and pursue the available funding for the various projects he has planned in the areas of Regenerative Treatments for Orthopedic Conditions and the development of data collection methods in this area.

NJ Commission Grant for MFAT-SCI Clinical Trial Funded

Drs. Malanga and Bowen have been collaborating with the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation to help patients with spinal cord injuries. With a team of other doctors (with quite a few being from Kessler), they have gotten funding for a SCI trial.
