Beware of U.S. Stem Cell

Another reason people need to thoroughly research doctors and practices offering Regenerative Medicine. The Healing Miracle website on its December 6 blog entry points out 6 tips that patients should use when picking a stem cell clinic. 

Sadly, the link brings one to stemhotline.com which features Kristin C Comella, PhD from U.S. Stem Cell who was recently investigated by the FDA for bad business practices. The FDA “cited the clinic for marketing stem cell products without FDA approval in a way that could be “putting patients at risk.” The FDA said its inspectors had found 14 “significant objectionable conditions” at the clinic, including inadequate testing to ensure that the substances it was injecting into patients were free from contamination.”
